Spring Time

Hey everybody!

I kind of got tired starting at my 'New Years' journal so figured I'd write something

Figure I let ya know what's going on and also to say, THANK YOU, as always for reading, faving, commenting, and watching. So what is going on in my little corner of DA.

Writing wise I need to get my entry done for Nocturne contest. It's almost done, promise Beth , and hopefully I can post it this weekend. Now I'm not mentioning this just so you read it but also head over to Beth's page to read quite a few stories that have been entered for her contest along with some art.

Once I get my Nocturne tale done, I'm going to hunker down to work on Girl of Steel. I was really pleased to get my first small story arc done and even more thrilled by how people seem to have enjoyed the series so far Vol 1: Firestar is now in the Girl of Steel folder if you want to read Issues 1-4. I've always wanted to display my ideal version of Kara and I'm overjoyed people think she's a comic worthy version of SG. In case you didn't know Issue 5 shall feature Supergirl teaming up with the Dark Damsel herself, Batgirl. It's a Worlds' Finest issue and I hope everyone enjoys it!

Future Girl of Steel plans include a new two issue arc which shall introduce a new villainess Supergirl/Kara to face, along with some new friends for Kara to meet. I can already share the title of this volume, Lighting in a Bottle.

As for what else is planned, going on?

I might want to focus on OCs again for a bit. My greatest sin, Miss America still unfinished opening story needs completing. I'd like to tell more tales with her and have some WWII adventures. I haven't forgotten about Athena either. Getting another adventure for the heroine goddess is definitely one my goals. Plus there's everybody's favorite brightly clad thief, Orchid. She has a couple ideas I'd like to explore. BTW for some great Orchid tales not written by me, please check out page. Crimson has done amazing things with Orchid and her excellent OC, Crimson Dynamo. If I'm Orchid's father, Crimson is quickly becoming her mother (hope you don't mind the analogy CV!)

A new character is also possibly on the horizon. In fact there's several but I just haven't really committed stories to them yet. I'd like to get to them but its just been difficult getting everything I want done. One of these characters is a new villainess. As its somewhat been a tradition, I'd like to introduce this new villainess in a Shadow Samurai story. I've been talking with and I think we have a proper story worked out.

Plus I'm going to do some new movie reviews. For certain I have one I want to do for June, but won't say what that is. Otherwise I might just do some of my favorite movies or...if I can be convinced by you guys, some real BAD movies (looks nervously at Star Trek Nemesis....)
